In fact, this manufacturing reality which, thanks to its beautiful and well-made products, in complete assonance with the deepest meaning of Made in Italy, has reached more than 80 countries around the world, was born in 1912 thanks to the initiative and vision of Enrico Guzzini and later of the heirs of Mariano Guzzini.

The horn was the first material worked and followed by Plexiglas, acrylic materials, glass, porcelain, steel up to the recycled and bio-based ones.

“Someone said that to be truly free you need to have strong roots, here I can say that our deep roots in the territory, in the know-how, in the manufacturing art have made us free to innovate, experiment and always keep up with the changes that the market and, dare I say, the planet require us” declared Domenico Guzzini.

And yes, the well-being of the planet has become a real priority for the Marche-based company which has been implementing a new production program for 4 years.

"Circle is the program with which we began a journey that will lead us to use more and more second-life raw materials, today we cover about 30% of total production" says the President "With Circle we give new beauty to recycled materials which, through research , technology and design become new aesthetically beautiful, durable, recyclable and made in Italy products”.

For the 110th anniversary of the company, Guzzini has decided to create the "110" carafe , a tribute to the Scandinavian designer Charles F. Joosten and his 1957 drink line called Set Whiskey. Already in the 1950s Guzzini was pursuing its own formal research involving international designers in the development of coordinated and innovative products for use.

The new carafe belongs to the Circle program, it is made with plastics called bio-circular , derived from plant biomass waste and residues, therefore of non-fossil and renewable origin. This is a real revolution in the panorama of tableware because no one before Guzzini had managed to make this type of material as transparent as crystal and suitable for contact with food: a great record to celebrate together with this important birthday and this prestigious award!
